On my way to the restaurant with the boy he nicely took some pictures to feed my blog. It was actually the day I recorded my latest video in french :) It was kind of an awkward parking lot next to a kid playground photo session but eh sometimes...you gotta do what you gotta do. I really don't know how some bloggers do to look so natural and model posing on their blog, I always feel so awkward. Anyways...It was a very sunny day, which is becoming really rare these days so the skirt was out, ready to enjoy it.

I have been feeling a lil bit crazy and I changed some of my old habits.I used to buy the same top coat over and over again, the Mavala - Mavadry. It's really good and for no reason I decided to change. You know, the grass always seems greener on the other side. After my OPI - Rapidry topcoat, now I tried the Essie - No Chips Ahead. What I look for in a topcoat ? It must prevent from chipping, make it shine like no tomorrow and dry quickly if possible. I often found that a topcoat can't gather all these 3 things. They are fast drying but not shiny enough or they prevent from chipping but it takes an hour for it to dry. This time I chose the chip free top coat. I hate chip. Loathe.I don't know what's worse, the lack of shininess or a massive chip? Yikes. It is said to extend a manicure for up to 10 DAYS. Well, it did work on my nail toes! On my finger nails I'm just not into the whole I keep my nail polish for 3 weeks so...I change it every day or two.
After using this topcoat for more than a week now I came to the conclusion that The Essie - No Chips Ahead is a good topcoat, not the best I've ever used but it's really good in terms of chipping prevention.
It has a very shiny finish but that doesn't last as long as I would love it too.
I doesn't stain and dries pretty quickly. I'm pretty happy with my purchase but I'm not ready to settle down yet, next I want to try the Sèche Vite top coat as I've heard it's ah-mazing!
I had such a great day in Liège today which is a city located in the south of Belgium.
I particularly love this city for one main reason and many others. The main reason is that is it the only city in Belgium that has a PRIMARK. Yessssssss. The weather was, thankfully, gorgeous and I was able to really chill and enjoy a sunny post-exam shopping therapy. I did find some cute clothes :-) Obviously going to Liège was the perfect occasion to grab a Starbucks at the station. (The only one Brussels as well..yeah we aren't very spoiled) I also ate a DELICIOUS Boulet sauce lapin, which is a special meal from Liège. Basically it's meatballs with apple sugar sauce and homemade french fries. so GOOD. (Maybe it doesn't look that yum in the pic but trust me it was)

Guess who's backkkk. It's meeee. Gosh I'm finally done with those exams I seriously thought I was going to lose myself and turn into a negligé nail polish high bun mess. Nothing like celebrating the end of this absolute torture (=exams) by wearing my favourite heels. My burgundy platforms with a strap from New Look. The strap add a touch of glam. I buy almost all my high heels at New Look, some are hideous but you can find some real GEMS at a very affordable price.I love love love these heels I can not believe they were only 30 euros. They are so comfy and really high (which I LOVE) I can't stand mid heels/kitten heels, it's just not for me. I also got them in black just because you never have to many high heels, right ladies?
I'll try to post more than I did these past few weeks.
OOTD, makeup favourites, hair, videos, ramdonmess and so on.
Apologies for the lack of personal posts this past few weeks. I'm now in a massive exam session (only 3 left now wooo hoo ) so I really don't have any time to take pictures or to do OOTD or face of the day (I do also look like shit). I'm just gonna do a little post on some miscellaneous things that I have been gathering on my computer lately :)
Michelle Williams on the cover of Elle Canada. What a BEAUT.
She's talking relationship advice with her new boyfriend.
"You deserve more than just somebody who's nice to you. I think that often these days, niceness seems like it should be enough because it seems like such a rare quality but when you get inside of it, you think..mmmh I can be pretty nice to myself. What about these other things? Life is too short and too crappy to not try to get more of what you want."
I love her, she is so cute and sassy looking. I wish I could rock a short do like she does.
I'm dying to get these Zara black pointed heels. I can't believe that pointed did a big fashion come back, it used to look so fun and tacky in the 90's in my memory. Now these are such a statement piece to have in your shoe wardrobe. WANT.
My obsession for Kourtney doesn't stop. I love that cute pregnant lady look she is sporting.
The maxi dress is so simple yet gorgeous and I love also the round 70's sunglasses. You go Kourt.
Aren't you dying to know how is she going to name her little girl? I SURE AM.
Another trend I really have been loving is the asymmetrical dresses.
I love the one Kim is wearing here, it's really pretty.
I would love one for myself!
In a more casual way, Kourtney wearing a black asymmetrical comfy maxi dress.
I LOVE THAT LOOK. The hair, the hat, the bag, the sunglasses, everything is just going so well together.
It was about time! OPI is launching her very first NEON collection.
It is called Outrageous Neons and I haven't see any swatches so I have no clue how this is going to look IRL.
OK girlies, I'm back to my nail polish less life of student in exam.
I was super excited to try more of the Soap and Glory range. They used to sell online on Asos but unfortunately now they don't anymore so I had to ask a british beauty blogger to send some of it over :) The Flake Away is a body scrub with shea butter, sugar and peach seed. The packaging is über cute as always and it wasn't expensive for the amount of product you get.
The smell of this product is soooo yummy I could smell it for hours. It is such a pleasure to use it in the shower, it really rubs away all the dead skin and smoothes the skin. The only down side must be that it isn't handy to use it the shower, you get the product wet all the time by using it with your fingers. I would have prefer a pump or something.
Overall this is a really good product that I would definitely repurchase.
